3. Stop Here!!

~ Tuesday, Sep 23, 2025
When we speak about the Hanuman Chalisa, much is said about its immense benefits: peace of mind, removal of obstacles, courage, protection, devotion, fulfillment of desires and even miraculous transformations in life. These are absolutely true, and you will experience them if you chant regularly and sincerely. My fellow devotees of Shree Siddhi Sanjeevini Hanuman and I are living proof — we witness these miracles often.
But there is also a deeper side that is rarely spoken about. Just as fire can warm you or burn you depending on how you handle it, so too the Chalisa will either uplift you or expose your inner weaknesses.
So, before you plunge into this practice, you must be aware:
1. Ego and Negativity Cannot Survive the Chalisa
If you are an egoistic person—always jealous of others, intoxicated with power, money, prestige, or even secretly desiring harm for others—then stop here. Do not go further.
Why? Because you will not see the real benefits of the Chalisa. In fact, the practice will make you restless, and eventually you will quit.
But if you wish to change, then pray sincerely to Hanuman to burn away these tendencies. Remember, Hanuman was the first to burn the ego of Ravana by setting Lanka aflame. If you want to move forward on this path, you too must allow Hanuman to burn your ego and self-esteem issues. Only then will the Chalisa open its true treasures to you.
2. Relationships Will Shift
As your practice of chanting deepens, you may notice shifts in your relationships. Some people—even long-time friends or relatives—may slowly distance themselves. This often happens with those whose energies are not aligned with your growth, such as those caught in jealousy, negativity, or patterns that weaken your spirit.
At the same time, you will also notice positive and supportive people entering your life, sometimes from completely unexpected places. This is Hanuman’s way of reshaping your circle so that you are surrounded by people aligned with your growth.
3. Protection, But Never Revenge
With regular practice, you gain an additional layer of divine protection. People cannot harm you easily—be it through jealousy, gossip, curses, or even subtle ill wishes.
But beware: never chant the Chalisa with the intent to harm others. If you do, the energy may reverse back to you.
Instead, if someone cheats you, hurts you, or treats you unjustly, do not curse them. Simply pray sincerely:
“Hanuman, I have come into your circle of protection. Please take care of this matter.”
And He will. Sometimes, the person will reform and apologize. Other times, if their negativity persists, they will be punished by the divine order. This I have personally experienced.
4. Beyond Personal Gain
The Hanuman Chalisa may seem to lose its power if one chants only for personal gain for long, without moving beyond self-interest. It is natural to begin with desires, and Hanuman, out of His boundless compassion, often fulfills them so that faith can deepen. But for His blessings to remain with you, the practice must gradually expand into service. This can be as simple as chanting one Chalisa for someone else’s well-being, sharing the message of the Chalisa, or telling others how it has touched your life.
For devotees within the circle of Siddhi Sanjeevini Hanuman, this means carrying forward His mission—encouraging others to discover the Chalisa and its powers, and guiding those who genuinely seek help.
“Let the power of the Chalisa and its Siddhis uplift your own life, but also direct them toward helping others"
Spreading its light selflessly ensures that Hanuman’s grace flows without end, blessing not only your life but the lives of many.
Other Profound Impacts
- Increased sensitivity: You will begin to sense negativity or dishonesty around you instantly.
- Mental clarity: Confusion and indecisiveness begin to fade, replaced by courage and steady judgment.
- Inner detachment: Things that once disturbed or provoked you lose their grip.
- Deeper devotion: Above all, you will feel drawn ever closer to Lord Rama Himself, for Hanuman is the bridge to Rama’s grace.
The Real Secret
Hanuman Chalisa is not just a hymn—it is a mirror. It will show you your weaknesses so you can overcome them. It will also reveal your hidden strength and grace.
If you approach it with humility, devotion, and a sincere heart, the Chalisa will transform your life from the inside out.
But if you cling to ego, negativity, or selfishness, the Chalisa itself will remove you from its path—because Hanuman’s energy only supports truth, devotion, and service.
Walk this path carefully, sincerely, and with faith. The results are beyond imagination.
Jai Shree Ram! Jai Hanumaan!
